Consecration: Your Access To Spiritual Prosperity
A. Manifestation and accomplishment come from a strong foundation.
1. A sturdy foundation is necessary to sustain any kingdom principle.
Psalm 11:3 AMP. 3. If the foundations are destroyed, what can the (unyieldingly) righteous do, or what has He (The Righteous One) wrought or accomplish?
a. Prosperity can not be established without the proper foundation.
2. Once the Church has a strong foundation, all nations will flow to it.
Isaiah 2:2 AMP. 2. It shall come to pass in the latter days tha the mountain of the Lord's house shall be (firmly) established as the highest of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow to it.
a. God will build up the Church to its highest point, then he will appear in His glory.
Psalm 102:16 AMP. 16. When the Lord builds up Zion, He will appear in His glory.
3. Part of building a strong foundation is living a righteous life.
Isaiah 3:10 AMP. 10. Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of thier deeds.
4. If the devil can successfully destroy The Foundation of God's Word in your life, then he can see you fail over and over again.
B. Consecration is one element in the foundation of prosperity.
1. God knows those who belong to Him; if you are a Christian, you must depart from iniquity.
II Timothy 2:19 AMP. 19. But the firm foundation of (laid up) God stands, sure and unshaken, bearing this seal (inscription): the Lord knows those who are His, and Let everyone who names (himself by) the name of the Lord give up all iniquity and stand aloof from it. (Ref. Num. 16:5; Isa. 26:13)
a. God will not show up on your behalf when there is "willful sin" in your life. This is for your protection; His Presence destroys anything that has to do with sin!
2. Departing from sin is an essential key to the foundation of prosperity.
a. Until you depart from sin, The Principles of The Word of God have nothing on which to stand on in your life.
b. You can't expect prosperity and success when your life is filled with sin.
3. Jesus Christ has set you free from the bondage of your sin-nature so that you can come out of "The Jail of Sin."
a. As believers, you have been made "The Righteousness of God."
b. Learn to trust and rely on The Power of God to deliver you from the bondage of sin.
II Timothy 3:16-17 AMP. 16. Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His Inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, (and) for training in righteousness (in holy living in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action), 17. So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thorougly equipped for every good work.
c. Always return to God when you miss the mark.
